READ between the WINES event is to raise much needed funds for our library while featuring not only our area’s restaurants, caterers, bakeries and wineries but our library and the Village of Grafton.
Last year the Friends, thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors, we were able to give the library a check in the amount of $8,650.00 which was deposited in the Community Foundation endowment fund insuring our library’s valuable place in our community. This year we are offering any business or individual willing to provide a sponsorship the choice to either have their gift go towards the endowment fund or directly to library programming. The Friends are a 501c3 not for profit corporation so all gifts are charitable and tax deductible.

The proceeds from ticket sales, Chinese raffle tickets, and a Silent Auction enable the Friends to advocate and provide financial support to our library. Ticket holders not only enjoy all the above but delicious samplings from our restaurant, caterers and pastries vendors but receive a commemorative laser engraved wine glass with a wine ticket for 7 free wine tastings all while listening to live music this year provided by Stan Miller, a well known vocalist and saxophonist who has been entertaining for many years, has appeared at the Cleveland House of Blues and been featured numerous times on Cleveland’s Fox8.
Thank you all for coming out and making this year’s Read Between the Wines event our best yet!
