Food PantryWe are very excited to announce that our first Little Free Pantry is now a reality!! The Friends partnered with the Village of Grafton to bring the first Free Pantry to our community. Our motto is: “TAKE WHAT YOU NEED. GIVE WHAT YOU CAN.”

Food insecurity is a reality for many families today. Whether you have a need for food, or you have a desire to give, little pantries help neighbors feed neighbors in need. We hope to have a second pantry in the near future for personal items such as soap, detergent, etc.

You can visit the Pantry on Main Street to the right of the Library. If you wish to donate non-perishable items that are not out of date, you can drop off your items in the lobby of the Village Hall right across the street during regular business hours.

Welcome, Friends!

30 years ago, In December of 1983 a few concerned library patrons formed the “Friends of the Grafton Public Library”, a support group to help the library through volunteer work and fundraising efforts.  They hosted their first function at the “Old Fashioned Christmas Night” December 9th 1983, serving punch and cookies, inviting attendees to join the newly formed group.  The first official meeting of the “Friends of the Grafton Library” was held January 23rd, 1984.  Officers were elected and the By-laws were adopted.
